    1. Thank you Sheila. We've had a lovely Christmas - Mum stayed over Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, Matthew, Sophie and Sienna have been for brunch and we are just waiting for Aunty Edith and Ken to arrive for tea. Joan is happy and well at the home - so I think that's everybody covered lol. After the blogging break I may resurrect it in a less intense way in the New Year - will have to have a think. Wishing you, Andy, DD, and all your lovely gang the very best for 2018. xx

    1. Thank you Joan - I did enjoy blogging - maybe I will re-think how I do it in the NY - we'll see. I hope you had a lovely Christmas - ours is nearly over now, once Aunty Edith and Ken have been for tea. My plan for tonight is to put my PJ's on, pour myself a Baileys and watch Call The Midwife - I can't wait! Wishing you all the best for 2018. xx

It doesn't seem 2 minutes since I was asking for advice and helpful hints about Amy applying for uni and here we are at the end of the year with 2 unconditional offers and 1 conditional under her belt - time whizzes by. Hope 2018 is a good one for you and yours. xx

    1. Hope you've all had a lovely Christmas Liz. It's been very kitchen orientated for me but I've enjoyed it all - mainly because these days I can at least cook the lunch without also having to build stuff or play games at the same time lol. Wishing you and yours all the best for 2018. xx

    1. Haha, thought I'd just slip a little one in to round 2017 off properly. Thinking I might do a few here and there in 2018. One of the reasons being I had to look back for something on the blog and got totally caught up in what we'd been up to. Half the stuff I couldn't remember and I was amazed at how much Amy and Thomas have changed over the years, so I'd like to keep a record of that sort of thing. Anyway, hope you've all had a lovely Christmas and wishing you, Bill and Violet a Very Happy New Year. Hope 2018 is a good one for you all. xx
